Our first stay at the Mariners Hotel. W were greeted by Lisa who immediately explained that we had been upgraded to the Beer apartment due to work being carried out near our booked room. The apartment over two floors with the access, bedroom, bathroom on the ground floor and kitchen/lounge/balcony and sea view on the second,was clean and tidy and gave us space to spread out. I made full use of the balcony,sitting there reading for a whole afternoon. Fantastic!! I'm afraid we have been spoiltand only stay in this apartment next time we stay.Lisa and Dean are excellent hosts and really go out of their way to make their guests happy. We were the only guest for dinner on the first night and Lisa made a homemade lasagne which was most welcome.We would definitely stay again and I will be recommending The Mariners to anyone I know who may be heading to the area.- Mark De-Wilde C
We have stayed in the apartment at the Mariners many times and this stay was as wonderful as all the others. A very relaxing break, in a truly stunning location in a beautiful apartment. Thank you very much for another great stay.- H
Our three day stay at the Mariners Hotel was made very enjoyable by our excellent hosts Elisa and Dean Barry. The first floor bedroom was immaculately decorated with a huge window enabling a fantastic sea view. Deliciously cooked breakfasts to your choice. Our hosts provided everything for a relaxing holiday. The hotel is perfectly positioned; opposite the long Seaton promenade, with a pretty walk along the Axmouth harbourside to the left, and within easy reach of Seaton town to the right and the cliff top walk to the park and gardens.
