After 30 years we thought we deserved a little break.We chose Seaton as it is close to the Donkey Sanctuary,where we have adopted a Donkey for the past 5 years. Well, we hit gold. The lovely owners can't do enough for their guests and made us feel at home straight away. Lisa does the cooking, which is first class. The young girl who cleans the room is a sweetheart and to top it off, they even have a fabulous dog, Molly, who roams around giving the odd leg a lick!!! Beautiful location and plenty of places to see. Ours was a short visit. A long drive, but so worth it. Would we do it again? You bet! I can't believe how lucky we were to find The Mariners. We really enjoyed our stay here. Lisa and Dean were friendly and welcoming, which made us feel at home straight away.We stayed in the Beer View apartment, which was lovely and cosy, and the view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful.Seaton itself is peaceful and relaxing, while being very conveniently located for visiting nearby places such as Beer, Lyme Regis and Charmouth.We had such a lovely stay and would definitely come back again.
